However, you're still able to get the logged frequencies in near real-time via Twitter.
Another new function has recently changed to beta state. You are able to find scanner frequencies of your area by letting your browser find out your location. That is based on nearby WiFi networks, cellphone towers or even GPS if your device is equipped with it. The default search radius of 10km can be changed to up to 250km.
